My sista she moved to CR
When Erin moved to CR in 2000 we all felt kind of homesick for her.
My older brother Wayne aka Beaner who is a talented musician made up this song but my camera battery died just as I was taking it.
The song goes:
My sista she moved to CR
I go see her someday
She like the sun ya
I like the snow ya
We both like the rain
She dance so hard she very crazy
I wonder sometime bout her brain
She shake her red head very funny
She sings "I'm a Medeterrian Lady"
There are several more verses but can't recall all the words so if anyone reading knows them please add them in the comment section.Tnx.

We said our byes to Erin and quietly took a taxi back to our hotel .This is our last night here together, doing what we loved best....... watching the sunset.
It was the day I had my "AHA" moment when I decided I had to convince Bob to buy and move here partime as it was sooo stress free.
He was convinced in 15 seconds, quit his new consulting job and we came back a few weeks later to buy.
Another nice sunset in CR. Each day the locals and the tourists walk to the beach and sit and wait till the sunsets. Then it is dark dark dark. People go to bed early here. This beach is down near Nicoya, near Mel Gibsons place.
But when we went to Mel's for a beer his securit$y guards stopped us as Paris Hilton was there....really....

This is my families associate brother Randy.
Randy grew up in Flin Flon too.
His life was allot like ours and he hung out with my younger brothers.
My mom loved Randy and Randy loved my mom.
Randy was a pall bearer for my mom.
Randy's wife Pearl died of MS when she was very young and Randy did a bloody awesome job of raising their daughter Rachelle who was about 11 at the time.
Randy is one of the best looking people I know.
You see him modelling for Gap jeans with his strong muscles and tanned skin and the zipper undone just enough...
............he is a funny funny funny guy who makes peope laff. He had most the beach laughing with his funiness.
He is so handsome, so funny,so sensitive and serious too, he is magnetic in his personality and everyone wants a part of him.
Randy made our trip happen and made it complete when we went to CR in Jan.
He is wise, kind, generous with a zany crazy humourous side that if you can have him a small part of your life you are fortunate:):)
My kid sis Erin, me in middle and my kid brother Ron on the right!!
Those of you who know me know how important my brothers and sisters are to me.
We didn't have it easy growing up.
We lived in extreme poverty in northern Manitoba and our dad was a serious alcoholic who deserted my mom with 8 little kids. Sadly, a gift to us that he left.
But we had something so very special that lots of others didn't have. We had a mom who loved us soo much she was able to make us all feel quite special and she created loads of fun for us when she could.
We are all close, loyal and have alot of fun "making memories" when we get together.
So last Jan of 08 my kid brother Ron turned 50. Plane tickets to CR were $97 and so I told him I'd give him a ticket to come with me and an associate brother Randy to CR if he could get the time off.
He did get the time off and him and Randy and I left Calgary when it was minus 42C last Jan 28/08.
Our sister Erin from CR met us in Tamarindo.
My gads we laffed so much and so hard we had sore cheeks from all the laffing.
It was like the Waltons, four of us slept in one room and some nights we lay talking till 4am.
I have never had such a stress free care free time in my life.
The chemistry between us all was wonderful and it was one comedian outdoing another comedian for the whole two weeks.
I am not sure another holiday could happen in a lifetime like this as we all needed time away from life!!
Thnx Randy, Ron an Erin for the fun and Bob for supporting me to take time away:)
Well my blog wouldn't be about me without speaking about one of the best people in my life....our son...Danny.
Any parent would be proud to be Dan's parent.... he is a good looking.... brilliant..... kind and a funny person.
Parenting him when he was young was fun, he was a live wire and curious as hell and always living life on the edge with learning new things.
We went camping allot together as Bob worked weekends and I was off and when he was 4 yrs old he could direct me in how to back up and park our RV. People were so amazed.
Dan learned to downhill ski with us when he was just under 3 and has excelled at this and is now a fantastic snowboarder...but it gives me the shudders to know of some of the jumps he does.
We are quite excited now as he joins us in Costa Rica for Christmas in about 2 weeks.
Both him and my kid sister Erin, who has lived in San Jose area of CR for 8 yrs will be joining us at the beach for Christmas.
We got them mosquito netting and foamies and they'll sleep on the rooftop terrace overlooking the mtns and the ocean!!
We're hoping Dan sneaks a frozen turkey on the plane as a 15 lb'er here is about $50 plus+++
Thanks Dan for being a special loving person in our lives, love ya forever and an eternity.
Oh my gads he's gonna give me heck now:):):)
