We always watch for the Emerald Flash:)

MYBOBBY,
It;s always nice to do a sunset walk,

When I read on the beach I daydream...I wonder why?

We bought our first piece of furniture for our new condo down here, for our grandchild who is arriving around July 2010.Handmade CR style, isn't it darhling....
Me at charity golf tournament, Bob and I and Patrica ran the silent auction, What fun we had working for Have a Heart. We were the servers to the volunteers for the cocktail hour and met a wonderful woman who was the director for the 8 schools the golf tournament earned moneis for.She set us up to teach English at Play Avenalla, we started teaching today and had a blast.

Our favorite waterfall in Costa Rica, about an hour away.

We sang the national anthem when we won with these fellow Cdns.
We tried not cheering too loud as these Americana guys were bigger then us:)

Someone even wore their Canadian mitts to Costa Rica.
Go Canada Go...and did we go!!!!!

Of course we won so we can bring out the flag and celebrate.

My buddy Barb from Newfoundland, this was about the 24 sec mark when US got a goal with Ca and tied the game...oh my blood presure was high.
Our centerpiece at our table during the hockey game.
We watched the Olympic hockey game Canada versus USA in local bar called Witches Rock. We were with friends from Newfoundland. All Americans up at the bar so we were sure to be rowdy:)

the view off our back deck as we rent in Tamarindo, this is the town we will be living at.
So life goes too fast. Here I am, have been home to Canada to run the B&B and back in CR for few months already. Busy being lazy. Bob and I are teaching English to preschooler, kindergardens and grade 1 to 3 in a rural small school at Playa Avenalla.(avenneyia is how you say it)
We now rent in the town we will be living in.
Construction has finally resumed on our condo and we should be in by next Christmas, what a relief, we thought we may have been duped.
