This pic was taken underwater in our pool, I love these three trees.

These flowers grow wild along the ditch, maybe a type of snapdragon?Anyone know?

I love the tops of these big dead trees, don't quite yet undertsand the flowering systme they have, they are beginning to bloom but the rainy season has not yet started, they look so old and majestic and weathered.

This bouganvillea had white and pink on flowers on the same branch. Are the white ones juvenilles, how'd they do that??

When we arrived Nov 4 the hills were a brilliant lush green, emerald almost, then it stopped raining in Nov and slowly the hills dried up to a dessert. We have not had a rain for about 5 plus months now. The trees flower, a whole new system begins that I don't quite yet understand.

The moon is out, about 4pm, it always amazes me that I can look at the same moon as those I love thousands of miles away., last night we had a late night swim and the moon was amazing.
No wonder man/woman kind is awed by the moon!!

Now what the heck is this, lycee nuts..... we dont know, anyone???

These trees are right outside our condo when we move to our own place and the birds/monkeys flock to them, we are excited as we are one of the few people with shade and trees.

Good snake cvountry but we've yet to see one.

Now for those flower buffs, tell me what this is. Its a ground cover that grows all over, the leave looks like clover, is it a type of creeping Jenny???

The magic of the leaves on some of the small palm trees really get you to thinking how perfect Mother Nature is, I can't get the camera to demonstrate how the sun glistens off the leaves. The hummers come here to get sips of water.

This plant is planted as hedges all over, in pink, dark pink, yellow, orange.....
don't know the name of them either.

Aren't these trees just glorious!

Hibicus hedges are all over the place, the most common ones being a paler pink color.

Now they have so many birds of paradise flowers I am amzed!!

I love these flowers, we have them in Canada as a houseplant but here they grow all over the place and are so shiny and brilliant in the CR sunshine, you can't get the brilliance in a photo.

These again area hedge flower and I have no idea of the names. I asked the gardeners but they don't know.Maybe they don't understand English and I don't know how to ask yet in Spanish:)

These gardenias make the whole place smell wonderful, they are planted to hang over the rocks walls that go along deep ditches so in the rainy season the water can flow and not flood the grounds. They smell bloody awesome and in the mid afternoon heat they smell the best!!
